OK so let’s just go from the July 9th backwards to
my last blog post.
July 9th, 2012 ~ Williston, VT.
I played in the VT. Junior Pro Am event at Williston Golf
Course, a place I had never played before, with a couple of other amateurs I
had played with before.
I was playing with Cody Sleeper and Troy Evans along with
Roger “Mule” King the Course Professional at my Home Course "Country Club
of Barre".
They course was well maintained and in good condition and
there was a great turnout for the event.

Roger played pretty well and it's a good thing he
did since he pulled most of the weight all day and it earned him a new nickname
"Mule".
We did managed to help just enough to finish in Net
3rd place, but with just a little more support by us we could have moved
up easily

Troy, Me, Cody and "Mule"
Thanks! Roger! for taking care of the event for us, we
had lots of fun and learned a lot along the way as well.

Saturday July 7th "The Links"
Outing
We (Me, Riley and my Dad) were invited by
Steve Gonsalves PGA of "Gonzo's" and the "Links at Lang Farms"
for an outing, and we were really looking
forward to that and having a good day, and it was.
We had a double match going, a two man best
ball team event with Me and Dad teamed up against Steve and Riley, and a
personal match between me and Steve playing for very large stakes (candy
bar's) so we had to bring our "A" Games.
We had some time to warm up since Steve was
busy giving lessons when we arrived so we took advantage of that at the range
and on the green.
Results of the match below.
We want to thank
Steve for the great day and all the good advice which I can use for future
rounds both competitive and otherwise.

Fast Backwards to July 5th VT, Junior Coca Cola Tour at
Green Mountain National.
I had an early tee time for my round Thursday so we had
to roll out early for our drive to Killington,
and Green Mountain National one of my favorite courses to play in Vermont.
I have no pictures or video of the event since the
"Photographer' forgot his camera.
I was paired with Jack ... and nice guy and a great
player from the Rutland area there were only two of us at our tee time so we were never rushed
etc during the round.
I didn't have a great round but shot an 80 which was good enough to win my Bracket.
I struck the ball well but had a few costly mental errors
which kept me from going 2 or 3 strokes better this day.
Sound Familiar?

On Back to July 2nd at Gardner CC 9in Gardner MA.
We had an early tee time as well so we had to drive down
Sunday night and stayed in Devon MA. which was about 24 miles from the course
so we didn't have a ton of time to get there and warm up before ourround but it
was enough I guess.
It was a beautiful day and I was paired with Xavier
Marcoux from MA. and
Joshua Philips also from MA.
None of us had what you would call a great round just
sort of paddled along for 18 holes.
I never really got my game in gear on approach shots or got good reads on the green and ended up with a
79 good enough for 2nd place, but have some work to do to get where I want to be.
